Default Be careful if you EVER remove the fender flares

Was trying to get the inner wheel well loose to look under it and a couple of the clips for the flare popped out. Didn't think much of it so I (stupidly) pulled to get it the rest of the way off and broke 4 of the clips. My Jeep dealer is near so went to buy them. $5.75 a piece! I need the Jeep for a long trip the next day so I bent over and bought them, thinking that many of you probably have a bunch lying around with mods you've done. Ouch. I have an interior tool the compresses the sides and they come out with out breaking. Won't make that mistake again. Just a warning!

Ya I popped rear driver side off 3 clips last time I was off road and to fix I gotta pull entire thing off and redo. So now I am saving for aftermarket and not even worrying about it

You can buy them at autozone in bulk for much cheaper. They are fairly generic. I needed some in the past and the generic ones were perfect.

I got some generic clips from kragen and they work great. Inexpensive and you always have some spares around.

Clipsandfasteners.com has pretty much everything at fair price. I paid something like ten bucks for a box of fifteen front fender clips.

X2

Used three clips and threw the box in my onboard goodie bag for future use. Beats driving home hoping the fender doesn't fall off.

Oh no! I second (third?) the generic options. I picked up some on the internet a while back when I popped off my fender and they worked great.

I'm sorry you had to spend all that cash. What a piss off.

Karl, I found that our autozone only had the fasteners for the wheel liner not the flare itself. That is the weird one (If your Autozone had them, awesome!) Thanks for all the options because I found some seam rust under the one and I do want to get to the other one but not until I get some "extras".
