Default Cargo security options

Was looking to make a cargo security deck, but after looking at the time and money involved I think i'm just going to buy one. I like the Tuffy tailgate enclosure, does anyone make anything similar under $200? Thanks in advance!

I was leaning toward building my own, but if I can get a metal enclosure I don't have to worry about for under $200 i'm in. I'm looking at this Tuffy 282-01 - Tuffy Security Products Tailgate Security Enclosure for 11-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec but can't figure out how it can work for a 2 and 4 door? If anyone has one in a 4 door does it cover from the seats to the tailgate or does it shorten the cargo area?

Have you seen the hidden trunk( I think that is what it was called) write up? Might give you some ideas. Sorry I can't remember the exact name of the thread.

It mounts 12 inches or so from the tail gate. You will have to reach over it to put anything in the back (unsecure) between it and the seats. I went with the security deck.

There are 2 sides a top and a back piece. When the tailgate is closed it makes a box.

You are correct...if it were not a complete enclosure, it probably wouldn't be a good deal.

I debated building my own for the longest time. I ended up with the security deck and couldn't be happier. It looks very clean and does a terrific job.
