Check engine light: Oil sensor sender code: JKU 2014 50k
This part has already been replaced 10k ago! Is this a recurring problem with the pen star? Anyone out there have these problems?

I've not heard anything. I was just at the dealer for a solid once over while it was in for the power train coverage. Checked up on all recalls and this wasn't mentioned. Was it for a certain set on VINs?

Thanks for the replays, very helpful and encouraging. I have an extended warranty which covers all but $100.00 for that repair. while there I got them to do a break inspection. This revealed less than 30% on the REAR breaks!!! I had 70% left on the FRONT breaks!!! ???? They turned the rotors and replaced the pads on the back no service needed on the front! Has anyone heard about excessive wear on rear breaks? Seems backward to me.
Also I refused their pitch to have transmission, cooling, differential, fuel injection flush and service done. They wanted an additional $1000.00 for that service. The Jeep has 50 K on it now and nothing on any maintenance schedule I can dig up requires that extensive service that soon! Am I wrong? If so I'll crawl under it and do it myself.

This has been the case with the more sophisticated computers used to control the anti-lock brakes on today's vehicles.

Back brakes going first on the JK is standard. That's just how they work.
I had one oil pressure sensor/sending unit go bad about a year ago. Pretty common for them to fail once on the 2013s (supposedly they had a bad batch at the factory).
On older engines they were super easy to change, mounted on the outside of the block not too far away from the oil filter. Now, while the part hasn't changed, for some reason they thought the area formerly known as the lifter valley was a better location. So now you have to pull both the upper and lower intake manifolds to replace a $15 part for what should be a 5 minute job.

Replaced rear pads at around 30. Rotors will be swapped next go around.
