check engine and no code???
I just change my o2 sensor because of trouble code p0058 but then, with no code, I can't have the check engine light comes off even after unplugging the battery for about 15 minutes.
I drove about 3 hours since that and still have the light on
Did someone have experience this???

Awile back I had a CEL with no code. Lived with it for a few weeks until one day I was poking around under the hood. I found that the plastic hose that runs from the center top of the engine over to a thingy by the fuse block had a hole melted in it. I just cut in a splice and the CEL went away. Maybe just check all the little things under the hood. Good Luck!!

From what I've experienced with other cars, not 100% sure it applies to the JK, is that it takes a certain number of 'cycles' before the light goes off once the fault is corrected.
Or, you can do what I did the other day to clear an errant code. Take off the negative battery terminal, then turn the ignition to START for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the cable and it should be gone.

How are you checking the codes? Sometimes, not all codes will show up just using the ignition switch. It usually takes a star tester or equivalent to accurately determine which codes are set and why.

Oh yah, you can clear the code by disconnecting the battery but if you havn't fixed the problem as soon as you connect the battery the light comes right back on
