Default Clock Spring Re-call - Now Electrical Problems (Maybe Dealer Caused?)

Had the Jeep in for the clock-spring recall and now I have possible electrical problems, possibly dealer created.

CEL came on day after I got the Jeep back and code reader gave me P0302 and P0202. Jeep ran rough. I cleared the codes and ran fine for a day. CEL came back on with same codes the next day. Cleared them again, & this time CEL came right back on. I read the list of potential code fixes and did the spark plugs, wires and coil. These were due so I just went ahead and did them. I drove yesterday and everything was fine. Made a quick stop and start, and the CEL came back on. This time just the P0202 code. Cleared it and drove home later in the day, drove fine. Did the quick stop and start and the CEL came back on. Code was P0202 again. cleared the code and let Jeep sit overnight. Drive to work today and drives fine for the first 25 minutes. The CEL came back on and I have the P0202 again.

My concern/question is, when the dealer did the recall, could they have done something to cause this to happen. Jeep drove fine prior, no issues. Also, I don't know what is involved (step by step) when the dealer did the clock-spring recall work. Does the mechanic disconnect the ECM wire harness and reconnect, etc?

Any help/input appreciated. Sorry for the long rant.

I had P0201 / P0301 code and used sea foam in the gas tank and it cleared up the code.

The clockspring recall is a simple fix- disconnect the battery, remove the steering wheel cover, remove the clockspring, replace, replace the cover, reconnect the battery. They may have flashed an update to your computer but there is no software update required for the clockspring install.

I'll put seafoam in tonight when I get home. Worth a shot. Thanks,

That's kinda what I thought, pretty simple. Thanks.

I actually used 2 cans over 3 days. Just an FYI. Mine was very intermittent.

How many miles do you currently have and what grade of fuel do you use? Mark Dorion is the only other person I've seen replace injectors but he's at/ over 200k.

Hmmmm I use the same fuel and don't have issues at a higher mileage. Maybe it was a QC issue?? Glad to hear you've got it sorted out though.
