Torque is a android app. You have to have a Bluetooth obd2 connector to plug into vehicle.

I have tried it with the apple obd2 app but I can't get it to work.
Got the torque app to work instantly. And it works pretty good after fine tuning things on it for a few days.

I used JKphotoshoot's advice and help & these setup parameters worked for me:

Third pic is my readout #s after a short ride @ 35-45 mph for about 4 miles. Seems accurate comparing to my FlashPaq results that I've always seen.

Thanks again JKphotoshoot!

Btw, disconnecting your battery for a few minutes will usually clear any codes.

Torque does not work on iOS, its an android only app at this time.

There are three iOS apps that I've run in the past (iPhone 3g)
LogWorks
Rev
FuzzyCar (must use the wifi version of PLX Kiwi dongle)

LogWorks and Rev are two of the better ones with bluetooth support.

Since its been 3 years since I've messed with iOS apps I don't know if there is anything more current.

My opinion is to stay away from FuzzyCar and PLX devices, at least the wifi ones. Rather expensive and don't really
do any more than any of the bluetooth ones. Cost is way way less.

If your on Android, you cant go wrong with Torque. It is some of the THE best software out there for do it your selfers, and the cost is right (about $5) and well worth it.

I've been playing with OBD2 bluetooth scanners and software for about 9 years now. It All started with my Palm Treo and the $200 wifi dongle I bought from the UK. Those dongles are now dirt cheap and easily found everywhere.
