Default coil and springs from a rubicon

Hi,

I can buy for dirt cheap, coil and springs from a rubicon 2 door.

Will this stock rubi 2 door setup would be an ''upgrade'' (slighty higher) for my 4 door sahara?

thankx

On a 4 door probably not. Because of the extra weight you probably wont get any lift out of any factory springs. That specific mod tends to work the exact opposite. Put springs from a Rubicon 4dr with towing package on a 2dr for about an inch of lift.

Not worth the effort IMO, as mentioned the four-door to two-door swap does offer a little benefit, won't help in your case.

So the 4 door coils with towing package swapped to a 2 door will be worth the work?

I'd think it'd be cheaper to buy 1" pucks from 4wd.

I just put on 4 door rubi springs on my 2 door that i won on ebay for $30 along w/ rubi shocks and a teraflex leveling kit and got a bit over 2 inches total.
