Default Coolant

I have an '08 JK with 30,500 miles. My understanding is that my coolant is good for 5 years or 60,000 miles. I'm assuming that means it's about time for me to replace it then, maybe not? I couldn't find a write up for this. I did find that I should be using the oem HOAT coolant in a 50/50 ratio but I don't know the proper procedure for replacing the coolant, like where do drain it from, how to, etc. This is my first vehicle, and I've been learning all the maintenance procedures as they become necessary. Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Remove #1 and Then Drain From #2 into a bucket. Do all this when the Jeep is cooled down.

Exacty as Morris described.

I change my coolant once a year, usually right after finals week. I Summerize the Jeep.

Nice. I just had my finals. Does nothing need to be done about the coolant remaining in the block?

I've never worried about the coolant in the block. Especially if you are good about servicing your coolant.
