Default Coolant leak

Hi guys
I have a strange coolant leak at the back of the engine somewhere. I can see coolant dripping off the bell housing when I park up after a run ?

Does anyone have an idea where this may be coming from ?

Thanks goatee

Check your heater core connections.

Strange place for coolant. No offense, but are you sure it's coolant?

How's the level in the reservoir?

The level has dropped half way between max and min and yes I'm sure it's coolant, 100% sure

Sounds like you off-road. I've found it best to keep the coolant at the min line when cold. If it gets higher than that, then when I get into really steep climbs and descents the overflow reservoir (which has no actual drain line to below the engine) spits coolant all over the upper part of the engine compartment and makes a mess. Just something to consider ...

I hope it is not the intake manifold gasket.

Intake manifold gasket ? Is this a common leak area then ?
