Default coolant leak

last night on the way home from my boy's football game my jeep sprung a leak, fortunately close to home. I found the culprit, looks like it had been repaired before. I'm heading over to the local parts store to get a new hose. My usual buddy (he's the mechanically inclined one) isn't available today. So, how hard is it to replace this hose and what exactly is it called? Thanks for any advice/info, it is greatly appreciated.

Looks like one of the heater hoses to me. Make sure you use the factory style spring clamps, and not traditional hose clamps. The traditional hose clamps (shown in your picture) will leak every time when used on your Jeeps' coolant systems. Our systems run much hotter than older cars, and the continual expansion contraction of the hose will work the traditional hose clamp loose and cause it to leak. No matter what the local part store guy says.

Happy Jeeping!

did a temp fix on it, local store had to order a new hose. Should be in Tuesday... replaced the antifreeze and took it for a spin, seems good. Will be better once the new hose is in place.

Those heater core hoses can be a bit challenging to replace. They're attached right up against the fire wall, and behind the engine without a lot of space to get a set of grips on the hose spring clips. I'ld suggest removing the battery and battery tray to give yourself some additional access space.
