Hi all, I have a 2014 JKU with a standard transmission, I woke up this morning (first cold morning of the season) and I drove my son to school I could not get the engine to rev over 2000rpm. Maxed out at about 10kph and the only way I could go faster was to shift into 2nd, then again maxed out at 20kph and 2000rpm, etc, also maxed out at 2000rpm when in neutral. It’s like there is some type of governor on it.

Some possibly important information I had a hole in my exhaust, my mechanic patched it up and had to spot weld a couple places but that was a week ago and it ran fine till now.

Any thoughts?

when I left for work this morning everything was fine, I guess I just had a gremlin.
