Ok, here's the scoop. Had the Jeep in the dealer today for some warranty work. The trans cooler lines were out of warranty. They quoted me $261 including parts&labor to replace the trans cooler lines which I got them to do because it snowed about a foot here today and may garage is cold and I got lazy and my Jeep was already there, yadda, yadda Done and leaks fixed and they did not have to drop the diff.

Default transmission operating pressure

Does anyone know the operating pressure of the transmission cooling loop? Most aux cooler installs don't remove the metal to rubber fitting - they cut one of the rubber sections in half and splice in with connectors and new rubber hose to extend to cooler. I assume the fancy hose ends were done due to worries about high pressure blowing off the hoses using clamps. Anyone know?

My dealer is Crosstown Chrysler in Edmonton,Aberta,Canada. Toll free#1-800-209-8194

The new lines were $96 and labor was $165.

Have you tried calling other dealers in your area for other opinions?

Well, it's been just over a month and I just noticed a little bit of seepage through one of those same stupid metal crimpon connectors. Why do they keep using such shit? Anyways, the labor has a 90 day warranty so I will be taking it back soon to get fixed a second time.

This looks like the way to do the repair. How did you get the original clamps off?
Thanks
