X2 it's a good idea though. You know darn well the lift span of factory balljoints is short.
Knock it all out at once IMO.

Are you doing the lift yourself or paying to have it installed? Have you already done gears? Not sure where you are in the state but I'm in SLC. My rig is very mild (2.5" lift with rubi take offs) so I didn't do sleeves or gussets but the guy I had do my gears would have burned them on for not much more. I installed the lift but didn't have the skills/confidence to set the gears correctly.

PM me if you want and I can give you some names to contact.

I'm having someone put on the lift. I'm doing the TF LCG 4" and don't have the skills or tools to do that lift. I'm holding off on gears right now and hoping with the pentastar I can hold off for a bit.

37s with stock gearing is going to be rough, even if you have 4.10s. (Doesn't say in your bio.) I bet you get the gears done before too much longer. I'd probably have the C's done at that point if I was going for a rig that big.

I paid a guy $200 per axle for my gear install. Someone else was going to do it for $150 per but requires you pull the axles from the rig and I didn't want to deal with that at the time. I was in the middle of a house project and had a Moab trip planned that was closing in quick.

Curious about how much you're going to pay for the lift install?

I did the c's on mine before I lifted it. I also did the ball joints at the same time.

I would recommend this as a first step. I figured once I lifted it, Im going to want to wheel it, and who knows what its going to take to bend the c's, thereby costing me more in the long run.

Good luck with your build

That's a good idea about doing gears with the C's. Do the C's, sleeves, ball joints and gears all at the same time. I might have to get the name of the guy who did yours once I'm ready.
