Yeah good luck man...my tranny went up two months ago...08 64000 miles..its been sitting at the dealership for 2 months waiting for a tranny. Aparently there on backorder so along with my 4000 dollar bill im having to wait 2 months ill be lucky to have it back by christmas

And mines a 6 speed manual

Transmission flush and oil change every 30,000 miles. About $100 here and there ....great investment. Use Valvoline only. The ultimate prevention.

Jeep build quality does suck , but we still love em my 12 has been in the shop 4 times with only 10k miles on it....

As many if us hard core loyal Jeepers say, Jeep stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket." It's like anything else we love, you gotta take the bad. If Toyota made it Jeep, it would probably fall off a trail due to the brakes. I might consider a Jeep made by Airbus and take my chances....

Try Craigslist. Look in the Akron canton Ohio pages. Search for rubicon parts, they guy has a complete engine/tranny/wiring/sensor package from a hemi swap for sale, about $1k, says it has 50 miles

Yes, depending on where you are located you should be able to find one on CL. I know there are a couple around the Denver area. Just check all of the major cities around your area.
