Death wobble / Bad Shimmy after pothole or slowing down
I know, not A N O T H E R death wobble thread.. My main question is: Has any other forum members had dw on their stock jk? I was told it was my goodyear wranglers. 2 shops told me if I changed my tires the problem will disappear. Has anyone had the problem fixed by just changing their tires? My jeep is a 2007. Thanks everyone

'if your tires are out of balance it can give you a bad shimmy. Hitting a pot hole can get it started. It has happened to me before. I dont think changing the tires is necessary...just get them balanced if that is what you think it is,

sounds familiar
your problem sounds like mine... Tie-rods and drag-links excessive play. Hench why the jeep is squirrely when breaking, the play is transferring back trough your steering but also allowing your tires too move around. Mine are gone at 28000km...
