My 2007 Stock Wrangler Unlimited Sahara has been to the dealer 4 times for DW - (final after submitting the Lemon Law letter to D/C) They replaced the Stabilizer a "heavy duty" stabilizer (White w/ red boot, looks like a Rancho w/o the decals). Felt better driving it off the lot, now seems to be getting soft in the front end again...Awaiting the next DW.

I had a wobble in mine, after the FOURTH trip to the tire shop for balancing, they finally got it.

I am not saying your stabilizer wasnt bad, or in need of replacement, just that simply swapping it out, will not fix the wobble, it is still there, it is just covered up. temporarily.

Myths About Steering Stabilizers
I couldn't agree with this more. All the stabilizers do is mask the real problem.

Take the stabalizer off you JK and compress it in and out to see if it has a good deal of resistance.

If it seems faulty or compresses in spots very easy, then its time to get a new one through the dealer.
i second or third or whatever......had a similar problem with my TJ when I first got it....O what a feeling.
