diff breather
Just a thought, but if you had a snorkel, couldn't you run the lines all the way to the top of that?
I don't do much water, but I deffinately want to extend them so it's a little harder for water to get in.

I asked this question a while back. The way some people described it, it sounded like they were saying water will get into the transmission when shifting. What they meant was water and mud, etc. will get between the clutch disc and plates, rendering it nearly useless.
Those reading this thread need to read my thread, as it has some good info on breathers for the transfer case, transmission, and diffs, If I knew how to merge threads I would but here is the link.

You should change the fluid and make sure you put the right amount in and then raise the breathers.

If you raise them and the diffs are still overfilled it will probalble still come out and make a mess up higher lol. Could always take it to the dealer and let them deal with it.http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...hange-write-up
