It was a toss up between Mobil1 or Royal Purple and it just so happened that Royal Purple was the first one I found, so that's what I used. Either or, you can't go wrong. I had a hell of a time trying to find this grade of gear oil anywhere but then I got lucky at Bensons. Oh and if you've never pulled ther covers to change out the oil, I highly recommend doing so. My rear end definitely needed a good cleaning.

Default What fluids do i need to change?

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but...
I drove my Jeep thru some water yesterday while out wheeling and kee getting all sorts of advice from changing fluids to checking them all! What needs change or checked. I drove thru a creek that was just over my tires. wan only in it a few seconds.
I have been told no everthing should be fine and i have been told my differentials, transfercase, transmission, all need drained and replaced? It is probably about time to da it all anyway. But should i avoid driving it till i get it done or what?

thanks for your help,

Steve
