Well the reason I ask is because I'm in the middle of oil consumption test. Before I left the dealer I made note to check the oil level. Well it was a little above the line on the top side of the safe zone. I told them and they said they put in the 6 quarts. Now normally I do my oil change and I put in 5 quarts and change not the full 6 because it's over the top line in the safe zone. I just don't want to go back to the dealer and they say well it's fine ...

yeh and over seeing thier work habits
will only bring animosity and you might get metal shavings dropped down somewhere you dont need them , just let them do what they want during test you can let some out when you go home 
not saying your wrong but most dealers wont let you in the back shop due to liabilty issues anyway
