I would check your oil before you take it to the dealer for the consumption test. Stand there and watch them check it and top it off and make sure they don't overfill it, and I would ask to see what they write down as well.

Default yeh and over seeing thier work habits

will only bring animosity and you might get metal shavings dropped down somewhere you dont need them , just let them do what they want during test you can let some out when you go home


not saying your wrong but most dealers wont let you in the back shop due to liabilty issues anyway

Why would it bring animosity? I have yet to go to a dealership that had a problem letting me see whats going on. If they had a problem with it, I would go somewhere else.

I believe the dealer put the full 6 in. The oil is at the bend in the dipstick. I looked more online and see others are there also with the full 6 quarts.

ive always done 6 maybe a not the whole 6 leave a 1/8 out
