Do you remember how the stock suspension felt when new?

Do you remember how the stock suspension felt when new?
Hello forum.
Thanks in advance for all the valuable info that is shared hear.
If you bought your JKUR new (2007-2011, before the 3.6), how did the stock ride feel? Good? Bad? Ugly? I know it might be relative but was it WTF? or "not bad" could use some improvement?
I'm trying to see if everything causing my uncomfortable ride is to be expected or things need to be fixed.
Pretty sure the suspension lift on mine has short arms. Wheel and tire combo weighs a ton. Previous owner did all mods and I've owned this for only 1 year so not sure how how long lift has been on.
Do shocks wear out in a few years?
Feels like every crack, bump, pebble is amplified.
Jeep also pulls to the left and wonders. Its all loosey goosey.
Bumps in road require full attention otherwise it will go where you dont want to go...
Any insight is appreciated.
Thank you and thanks for for making this forum the best. 75F middle of Feb '23 kid happy, dog happy, dad over the moon, fish happy since we didnt catch any

Pics of your control arms and tracbar would be helpful to figure your issues .A nice side view of lower front control arms is best. From the angle (down) on your sway bar I can say I bet your control arms have some serious angle to them also. I would consider extended length sway bar links. Sharply angled control arms act like a pogo stick instead of gliding over a bump or hole tends bounce over them. This will also cause flighty , light all over the road steering. Are your axles centered under the jeep? Ball joints would be another suspect , have they been changed?
Great pictures. Nice to see people getting out and away from the concrete jungles. I suspect that just with age and mileage, you are probably due to freshen things up. Steering and suspension components are normal wear and tear things. Shock life all depends on the quality of shocks and use. I have seen some cheaper shocks not last more than 20k miles. A higher-end gas-charged shock should probably be more like 70-90k miles with normal use.
Not sure if you have adjustable lower control arms but you may be too low on + caster with the lift. Otherwise buhings, balljoints and rod ends are prime candidates for wearing out. A big improvement I did after I put the MC 2.5" lift in was to add a rear TB raise bracket and adjustable track bar to center the diff. Huge imporvement and Jeep tracks straight even on angled bridge abutments. Before it was quite an ass wobble.
I feel your pain I have a 2018 2 door that I put a daystar 1.75 puck lift in with new shocks and it rides like crap. I think the shocks are just too stiff its fine on a smooth road but when you get on a bumpy road it becomes a pogo stick of a ride and the jeep actually bonces so hard it will throw you out of your seat!! I found a slightly use Rubicon suspension that I'm going to put in and see were that gets me. when i first got mine, the front end was all over the place the previous owner had put new tires on it to trade it in and went cheap and bought All country IRON MAN tires, they just tracked really bad put-on new tires, and all was good.
