Its on my driverside tail light. It was on there when i bought the jeep. I have an aftermarket headunit but thats it. Any idea?

As you can see in the last pic. I just installed some LED reverse lights and that little black square makes a huge difference

Looks like something the dealership might have put on there for some purpose. Probably on with double sided tape. I bet if you looked at other jeeps at the dealership you would find more of them with that on them. Just peel it off and clean the lens with some achohol.

x2, looks like one of those backup alarms that turns on/off by detecting the reverse lights.

I think that it was a tracking device put there by Jeep to see if you went offroad so they could cancel your warranty.

Haha awsome! That was my first guess but i figured chrysler was to cheap to put a flux capacitor on there
