Default Dome light won't turn off

I did a search and couldn't find an answer, so here it goes. I took the top and doors off the Jeep last night and everything was fine. I just went for a quick drive and the dome light is staying on while driving and won't turn off now that the Jeep is off. I made sure it is off on the stalk and everything is off, but it still won't shut off. I also checked the gate and disconnected the battery but it's still on. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me. Any suggestions?
I'm sure its something simple but I thought I would ask before throwing my doors back on.

Did you make sure you didn't turn the light on by push activating it? Had to ask, I've done it before.

Is it the back dome light? If so try pushing up on the lens until it clicks.

It's both lights. I tried pushing the back one as well, but it stayed on. I've looked all through out the manual and still can't find anything. I think I'll try and pull the fuse next.

Sorry, disconnected, then reconnected.

I went ahead and pulled the fuse for now to get them to turn off. Not sure what to do now other than put the doors back on. Hopefully that will work.

Twisting the Dimmer to Off has always worked for me. No clue why it won't work for you to shut the lights off?

Parking Lights, Instrument Panel Lights, and
Headlights
Turn the end of the multi-function control lever to the
first detent for parking lights and instrument panel
lights. Turn to the second detent for headlight operation.
To change the brightness of the instrument panel lights,
rotate the center portion of the multi-function control
lever up or down.
