Default Door bolt question?

So I took my doors off for the first time today. Can't decide if I'm going to put the bolts back on, or just keep em in the jeep. Any problems with leaving them off?

Nope! Mine have been off for about 9 months now.. It's much easier to just pop the door off and go.. If your jeep is locked, then nobody can steal the door... If they really want the door, bolts or not, they will get your door...

I forgot to replace mine awhile back. Went about a month before I realized it. I obviously couldn't tell a difference and didn't have any issues, lol.

Yea. That wrench comes a little too close to the body to be swinging back and forth all the time taking the bolts on and off.

I haven't put mine back on since the first time the doors came off. You cant even tell. And it's way easier to take the doors off now.

I put mine back on for winter just in case any salt or crap gets in there. I leave them out all summer.

My bolts have been in the glove compartment for about a year now. Forgot they were there till I read this thread!

My door bolts were off of my '07 for 5 years. In fact I still have them, even though the '07 is sold.

I left mine off until I got my OEM half doors. The halfs are very light and the uppers stick in tightly so I needed to reinstall them so I wouldn't pull the half door off every time I took off the upper.

When I put the fulls back on I remembered I don't need them but I put them back on just so I know where they are next spring when I swap on the halfs again!

bottom line, you don't need them......
