It should be o.k. just to get you home, but i would like to see it if anybody wants to try that set-up and drive around town to see how bad it gets.

 

I wouldn't reccomend it. We had 20 to 25 mph winds here last week. I had pulled over to put the top back on and the wind caught it from the side before I hooked back into the door frames. I was amazed how much the roof "inflated" from the cross wind. I would never have guessed the top fabric could lift that high with the frame still latched to the windshield.

Maybe you could just fold the door surrounds & keep them with you under the seats.

I know they advise against it in the manual, but there are other things waiting to bash my brains in if I crash.
