Door hinge bushings
I had the doors off again this weekend, and the top hindge on the drivers side is metal to metal. I got to thinking about just putting in some thin teflon washers or maybee another material. Has anyone done this, and if so would they happen to know the dimensions of the washers needed so that the door will still close. Thickness, outside, and indside diameters ect.
Does anyone have any more info on these bushings?
I had my doors off last week, and my passenger side bushings are already finished, the jeep is an '09, less than a year old!
Has anyone found a better solution, or do I have to bite the bullet and pay 20$/bushing?
Has anyone been able to get these under warranty? I find it a little crazy that these fail after less than a year!

Good info. Still expensive at $35 for a set of four (the offered package size), and $70 to replace all of them on the four doors. Plus $6 for shipping (to my Zip, anyway). But, if they don't break down like the stock design, may be worth the money.
