I have a 2015 jku and I am wanting to paint the door hinges black. I have tried using the plastic dip route and kept having problems when pulling off the tape so figures I would just paint them. I thought of using sharpie oil based paint pens, how well will that covet the orange paint underneath? Any thoughts?

 

I wouldn't bother wasting your time with a marker. Just take the doors off and remove the hinges and go to your local auto parts store for some matte black spray paint. Just prep the hinges by scuffing them with 320 grit scuff pad and a self etching spray primer. Worked when i painted my hood hinges black, and they still look brand new
