door noise

Default door noise

i have the full doors with power windows/ locks and here lately when i hit a bum my driver side door sometimes makes a noise. is anyone else experincing this? and if so is there a way to stop it?

Could be the bum complaining about being run over!

If it is a clunking sound, put some plastic electrical tape on the door striker where the door latch grabs it. A few layers of tape are all you need.
The other piece of tape on the long portion of the striker will not be necessary.

Yup. I did the same thing. The noise was driving me crazy. A couple wraps with electrical tape and gone! I always keep a roll of that stuff in the Jeep. You never know what you'll need it for.
