Got my Jeep June '08. Doors came off a week later and the nuts have not gone back on since.

I'm a nutter , yep I put them back on. Got to justify buying the Torx socket bit set somehow.

I just put them on as a deterent, but I don't tighten them just hand tighten enough I can take them off by hand only an extra 20 seconds when you want to take them off.

Took them off my 07 and left them off (standard plastic bag in the glove box). I sure i will do the same with the 11 but now i have that nifty tray in the back to put them in.

Took off the nuts with the doors last year. During winter, doors on, pointless nuts...ya who know where i put them.

nuts stay off except for the winter season. once the cold hits, I clean and regrease the pins and re-install the nuts. Keeps snow/slush/road-salt slurry out of the hinges.
