I don't know about anyone else, but the information does not explain how to get the inside panel off, just how to remove the glass after you have done so. I just want to know how to remove the darn panel......

Read it again. It's in that post which cross posts to another thead and contains diagrams from the service manual. Basically, remove the door panel via a couple of screws and some fasteners. This will expose the inner panel. At the bottom of the inner panel, there are a couple of pill/oval shaped plugs that need to be knocked out with a punch or similar tool. Once punched out, lower the window down until you can see the window retainer tabs through the punched out holes. When visible, take a screwdriver and press the release tabs on the retainer to release the window from the retainer. Next, pull the window up out of the inner panel and tape it to the top of the door, via packing tape, to hold in place. Once the windows up and held in place, remove the screws securing the inner panel to the door and remove the inner panel. There may be some wires clips to unhook as well during this step. To see photos of some if this, take a look at the other link.

Good luck.

you need to READ not just look at the pictures it is spelled out completely on how to remove the panel and that comes straight from the factory service manual, the numbers in (2) match up to the numbers in the pics to show you what they are talking about, cant make it much easier then it is

As mentioned, the inner panel is removed by removing the window from the regulator channel...find the two knock out plugs, score around them with a utility knife or similar, knock 'em out and find the retaining clips that hold the window in the channel, two flat tip screwdrivers will release the window from the channel, tape it up to the top of the frame and proceed to remove the inner panel
