I've got an 08 4 door.....got the clunk rattle noise what seems like it was right next to my ear about 2K miles ago whenever I hit a bump or dip in the road. Then it started on the passenger door.

Took it to the dealer, who said they replaced the latches. Yee ha. Rattle was gone for a while, but now it has come back. 8,800 mi.

I saw some "electrical tape" solutions, but no descriptions or pictures to help solve the problem. The dealer is in inconvenient distance away, so that's a last option. Not sure if the dealer actually replaced the latches or just pulled a fast one and SAID they did since the problem has now come back.

Nevermind y'all....I had some extra time and found multiple posts for help. Jumped the gun, shoulda done that FIRST.

Will try the electriczl tape on the striker solution and get back to you.
