Have a 2016 2-door duel top JK. But have yet to install the soft top because besides the main part of the top itself, everything else is missing.
All three windows, tailgate bar & retainers, both door surrounds & screw knobs. Having been a past JK owner, I'm somewhat familiar with the soft top, but still have a few doubts I want to clear up.
With the Sunrder top, are the "door surrounds" unique / special ? My old 07 Jeep was fully equipped from stock so never needed to worry about the accessory parts.
So when shopping for these "door surrounds" for a 2 door JK, must the description state "for Sunrider top ? Isn't there a mounting clip for the Sunrider top like on my 07 JKU ?
And a side question, when looking online I see these "Top Arch Bars" I never had one of those ? Is that something new, or unique for the 2-doors ? Thanks,

 

I would venture a guess that you could buy a complete used top on FBM or CL cheaper than you can purchase your missing parts.

My experience has only been with 4dr tops, but I think the same things would translate over to the 2drs, but take with a grain of salt and maybe some 2dr soft top guys will chime in. The biggest difference with your old '07 top and the more current ones is the old tops used to have to clip in across the top of the door surrounds. The next wave of tops went to being held in place by simple tension. The clips you're referring to for the sunrider functionality I don't THINK ever changed, and even when they went to a "spring-assist" top I believe those door surrounds stayed the same.

 

Thank you for the reply. I believe we have the twill material if that makes any difference. I know they changed to the wire / spring set up somewhere around 2011 / 2012.
But my main concern is this Sunrider clip, and if the 2-door JK's still use it and if that determines the type door surrounds I'm needing ? Something like these below.
