Default Driver's door power window starts out slow

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Trying to get an idea if it might be the regulator or track and how difficult it would be to fix or adjust. I called the dealership and they said it could be $250-$500 depending on the problem. Any help is appreciated!

sorry I'm not any help but mine does it too. I also get a sound like a kinked cable going over a pulley.

in past vehicles normally the slowing down of the power windows indicated the motor going out... it was usually a gradual drawn out thing.

always replaced it myself but it was always a pain

The window goes down just as fast as the others. It is slow for the first probably 5 inches then goes up the same speed as the other windows as well, so I am ruling out a bad motor. It may be out of alignment but I have no idea how to get into the panels and I am scared of breaking plastic lol

First remove the first panel , than remove the window motor to expose the large gear. Grease this with a waterproof heavy grease. Reinstall. Than undo all bolts in second panel . This will allow u to flex the second panel and reach in with a spray grease or silicone can and spray the track and the cable that connects the motor . This helps but is still cheating! If u have time I recommend greasing all cables and track while your in there! Hope that helps! It's mainly dry friction that is slowing it down!
