Default E-Disco will not re-connect

After wheeling in rocks and mud last Saturday night with "Club Jeep Aventure" my E-Disconnect will not re-connect! Anybody know what might be the problem? or if their is a way to manually connect?
I got an appointment at the dealership for Monday in 2 weeks but don't like to drive on highway disconnected

Thanks

I've found mine doesn't like re-connect in 4LO with the trans in neutral, but seems to work better in 4LO, trans in drive and creeping. This is mainly due to your front end flexing a bit. If the two ends are not lined up right, they don't re-connect. You may have to grab the front bumper and rock it from side to side. I did have an issue with my original e-disco not re-connecting and they had to order me a new e-disco due to water getting into the motor itself. Some have also had issues with water intrusion into the connector for the e-disco too. If you've tried all this stuff, disconnect your battery for at least 10 min and re-connect the battery and see if the swaybar re-connects

I have had heaps of trouble with mine so i stripped the thing and relubed it with never seize grease and put a thrust washer between the end of the motor and where it makes contact with the little sliding collar set up.., now as long as i'm in 4wd when i turn it on and do a wiggle in my seat it will let go with a little click and reconnect the same way

Also it's speed limited, if you have it disconnected and go over about 15MPH it'll reconnect (SWAY BAR will flash on the dash) and then let go again when you slow down again (SWAY BAR steady)

only one more drama to solve the electrics for it aren't water proof so if you go swimming with it it stuffs up until you pull the plug and dry it.

I wonder if using silicone dielectric grease would help?

Well tried all this, Except for disconnecting battery(I want dealer to see the problem for warranty) and nothing worked, I did not open it up either, I'll wait for warranties to be up before.
Even at higher speeds it does not connect.
I try to keep safe while driving, but yesterday I had it fishtail a bit going around a roundabout on wet pavement. It caught me by surprise!
Guess I'll have to be careful t'ill next Monday!

Once again, thanks for the help

I had to have mine replaced. It wouldn't reconnect at all. If you disconnect one of the sway bar links, you can manually move one end up and down. You could feel mine trying to catch, but then it would slip out again. My failure was due to the links being too short for the lift, and the swaybar binding or inverting under full flex. I was lucky to get a dealership to replace under warranty even though the lift probably caused the failure.

X2. I had the same thing happen, replacement was covered under waranty, and teraflex gave me a pair of longer swaybar links to prevent another case like this.
