Yup, same here. When I installed the lift I noticed that the front links were too short, but was told they had hundreds of them installed with no problems.

Went wheeling in Colorado where it broke, and spent a day and a half trying to get it fixed. When I got home, I went to post on here and saw that TF now was giving away extended rear links and recommending the old rears move to the front.

Guess I wasn't just seeing things...

When I put in my teraflex BB, I did have extensions for the rear and put the factory rear links in the front, Are there longer ons for the front that teraflex would send me? or is this the correct set-up?

Even at higher speeds it does not connect.
I try to keep safe while driving, but yesterday I had it fishtail a bit going around a roundabout on wet pavement. It caught me by surprise!
Guess I'll have to be careful t'ill next Monday!

Once again, thanks for the help
my Rubi is stock at the moment and I had to have replaced. That's more than likely what you're looking at

No. When they originally came out they didn't come with extended rear links. They added them when people complained about the fronts being too short. You are fine.

Also it's speed limited, if you have it disconnected and go over about 15MPH it'll reconnect (SWAY BAR will flash on the dash) and then let go again when you slow down again (SWAY BAR steady)

only one more drama to solve the electrics for it aren't water proof so if you go swimming with it it stuffs up until you pull the plug and dry it.

I had a lot of trouble too but thanks to this mod my disconnect works like a charm now. I disassembled the unit while on the vehicle and put anti seize on all the components and reassembled but it still didn't fix it completely. I took a closer look and found that the sliding collar (collar connects to a sliding fork/ring on the opposite side of the unit) that the motor plunger fits into was actually sticking due to a tight fit. I took my die grinder and ground the inside of the hole (where the collar fits in) just a little where it was sticking and reassembled the unit. I took the Jeep for a test run down the road and in the yard and turned the disconnect on and off about 10 times. Worked perfectly every time. It disconnected and reconnected almost immediately. This is a great mod for those units that just won't work.
Thanks
