yeah, went to park my 08 auto tonight..slight incline so i decided to throw the jeep into neutral, E brake it, let off brake, put in park..the usual..do it a lot. All of the sudden i realize, im slowly rolling. luckily, in front of me was a long piece of wood a little bigger than the concrete they use to stop cars, and i had my foot on the brake just as i rolled into that..had i not put my foot on the brake, or had there not been a block to stop me, i would've hit a TREE. i did the same thing again, cranked the wheel , and yanked the brake harder..i was much more careful this time and will be from now on..i've been on much sharper inclines and it had no problem holding the jeep until i put it in park..but i definitely got lucky..the wood was large but im sure the tires are big enough so that i wouldn't have hit anything. WHEW!

 

I went wheelin' with a bunch of guys from the forum a few weekends back. Most everyone had an eBrake scary story .

Just keep bugging the dealerships. The computer history should tell someone there is a problem.
