So, Engine was running fine. I took it in this morning to get the G40 recall flashed (something/brake control) and drove all day without issue until tonight. Out of nowhere, I couldn't get past idle and the ETC idiot light came on. I assume this is some kind of safe mode. I can't find anything obvious to cause the problem. I tryed resetting the computer and resetting the code. When I stomp the gas pedal with the key on, the light goes off. But when I start it, it runs smooth for a few seconds and then the light returns and the sputter/miss in the engine does too. Any thoughts? All are greatly appreciated.
