Default Engine Problems

I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X, there is knocking in the engine, like something broke, a wrist pin or a piston shaft or something. Anyone else have a problem like this? Just wondering if this is common. Thanks

Is this a startup knock, like many have encountered with a few different types of oil filters, or is this a continual knock, that varries with speed?

I just did a oil change and now i have a knocking sound 1000km into oil change, It started when i was driving at about 100km or 60mph.
It sounds like a continual knock It does not get much louder with speed. When the sound started I only got 2 blocks before I stopped.

You did the oil change? Have you checked the oil level since you've heard the noise?

Is this noise speed dependent or RPM? Does it make the noise as soon as it is running or when it gets warm or when its cold only? Maybe it is a wierd exhuast leak? Just a few thoughts. JOE>

I think it's rpm it's 100% in the engine it's got 76,000 km on it now.
