Default Esp bas and traction light on with code c123f

I installed some quick sway bar disconnects yesterday and last night about 8 hours after installing I got in the jk and the esp bas and traction lights were on (but no abs light). I checked today with my flashpaq and it said code C123F steering angle sensor comparative performance. I checked my speed sensors and from what I can see they are ok and the wires are connected and don't seem loose. I tried clearing the code but the lights are still on. Any help would appreciated. Thanks in advance

My ESP/BAS light just popped on today when coming around an off ramp. Ive had my lift on for 3+ years and no problems just seems to have come on for no reason and stays on. Haven't had time to look too much at it but if I find something I'll let you know. Most people have had that issue after a lift install and have not corrected the steering wheel back to straight because a lift will cause your wheel to be off of straight due to the angle of your drag link. Check your steering wheel and make sure its straight when going down the road. If not its very easy to adj takes about 10 min. Let me know if you need info on doing it.

Thanks, yeah I could use some info on how to center the wheel, mine is pretty much straight, steering wheel hasn't changed recently.

Its very easy. On your drag link, the rod that goes from the steering box to the left front tire, you will see a sleeve with 2 bolts in it. Loosen the bolts and use a pipe wrench and turn the sleeve. Make the link longer to make the steering wheel turn right and make it shorter to make it turn to the left. Its easiest to have a second person in the jeep to let you know when its straight and tighten bolts and test drive. Also dont forget to make sure the tires are straight by measuring from your rim lip to the frame on the same tire. Its that easy!

Ya it sucks, mine went out and was replaced by dealer only to go out again 2 weeks later, they replaced again and it blew during their test drive, they troubleshot and determined part of airbag harness was shorting and blowing the clockspring, it has been in shop for 2 weeks since then waiting for new harness to arrive, they claim it's a difficult part to get, hope urs goes better, only a 2 hour job if it's just spring and everything goes well. Good luck

So if the horn doesn't work it's probably the clock spring? I'm at work for the night so can't check it tonight.
