There is still a BIG difference between "full off" and "disable", a feature only accessed by the hokie pokie steering wheel dance (unless you do the toggle switch mod). In "disable", the BAS brake assist no longer applies brake preassure to spinning wheels. With the system dissabled, I can spin the tires any time I need wheel speed! It's a great bennifit offroad, I just wish I could get the ESP/BAS settings back for daily driving.
Couldn't you use an ESP kill switch to disable/enable the settings? Although you might have to have it all enabled to begin with...

Hmmm, I did the dance and turned mine off, but I've never tried to turn it back on?? I guess I don't know if it will or not.

But the RRREEEEAAALLYYY stupid part of this is that the whole system is computerized, it should be a simple thing to reprogram the computer so that the ESP off switch toggles between partially off, full off, completely disengaged (like the dance) and then back to on!!!!

We don't need an auto mechanic, we need a computer hacker that is into Jeeps.

Amen! Soooo stupid. I've tried more than 20 times to get this back on. I guess it's time for the dealer to start replacing parts till they figure it out!
