Guys need help, Went crossing today on sands and i have a kill switch for my ESP..i used it to switch it OFF but when i am done going back home swtiched it on agian and trun off the ignation but there is no use...3 lights on my dash won't go..What could this be !! my switch works fine tried to connecting the wires with the switch still the same...

 

Is your steering wheel centered? I know after my lift went in, my steering wheel was not centered properly and it made my ESP light come on and stay on. Easy fix to straighten it out. JK Project has a write up on it. http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...-end-alignment

I've seen others that had their steering go off center after a trail ride because the steering adjustment got twisted a little while wheeling. Their lights came on as well.

If its not that, no clue..hopefully others will chime in.

 

You might be right my steering wheel is not centered i noticed and even my cruise control doesn't work i think all is effected cos of that ill do my aligement today and see..

If its just your wheel, its about a 5 minute fix. Although it may take a few tries to get it exactly centered. When I got mine centered, I had to drive it for 5 or 10 minuts for the ESP light to turn off. So keep that in mind when you do it.

Cruise control is tied to the ESP light. It won't work as long as the light is on. I have also had the ESP light come on when the tire pressure was low on just one tire. Since one tire has less air than the other it gets smaller making it think it has lost traction since it is spinning faster. Eventually it shuts down the system.

 

Slight Off Topic: Which wire did you cut? My 2007 Sahara does not have the purple with light blue stripe so I cant even get an ESP Off Switch working...

 

I did cut the purple with light blue on my ride it's centered on the middle console. good luck...

 

Cool thanks, I guess it's not running right next to the foot well on the drivers side in my '07 Sahara, I don't wanna rip out the console if I don't have to, but I'll try and look deeper behind into the well and see if it's not there. Thanks again.

 

Guys i still cannot get rid of the ESP & TC & ABS lights off i ve done the aligment but there is no use i need help here please....
