there has been a thousand comments about this, usually with people who have lifted their jeep and/or lifted their rig, which i notice you are having done....when you do get those things done i believe you can take it to the dealer and have them permanently disable the ESP or you can install a toggle switch to shut it completely off and on as needed (plenty of writeups on here for that as well)....all that being said i have a stock setup and i have noticed that mine will do this every now and then and it will always turn out that one of my tires is low on air...fill'r up and no more problems, so i would check that out and see if the problem goes away.....

Before I lifted mine the ESP light would come on also when I made a long sweeping corner like an on ramp. It would go off once I got straight again.

is your steering wheel completely centered .. I ask because these Jeeps come with a steering position sensor; that is how the electronic stability program works .. when we lift our Jeeps the steering wheel shifts a little to the left and so when you you take a turn the comp thinks the cars is sliding .. It happened on mine and its very easy to fix 10 minutes tops ... here is a write-up .... even on not lifted jeeps some times the steering wheel is not centered (from factory) an the esp activates when is not needed ...

hope this helps

Mine has been doing this since new, had it serviced last week (1st service) and told the dealer about it. They checked and said I had the new module so it should not be doing it (there is a TSB on older JK for this). They then told me the only solution is to deactivate the ESP altogether but should they do that I cold never get it back. Still haven’t decided what to do.

I can't say for certain that improper tire pressure took care of this for me, but after lifting I had an ESP light at one particular off-ramp. 100% reproducible. Futzed with steering wheel and it didn't go away. I also had new tires and the installer pumped them up into the mid-40s. I brought the pressure down to a recommended 30 psi, and also upgraded the JK firmware with the Hypertech, and now the ESP light at that off-ramp doesn't come on unless I'm exiting it stupid/crazy fast (it's a tight, 180 degree turn). Bottom line: Check your tire pressures.

There are several threads about disabling the ESP. Here's one. And, unless the Euro JKs are different, you can turn the ESP back on. However, I wouldn't turn it off for highway use if it can be fixed. Recenter the steering wheel. Easy to do yourself. And check the tire pressures. If you have larger tires than stock, consider that you may have too much pressure (I run 30 psi in my 33s).
