WooHOO!!! it went off after a fill up and a few driving cycles!!!!!

Now the question, skid or relocation?

Yeah I'm gonna have to order me one of them soon. I haven't even picked the Jeep up yet, and I have already spend over $2000 on stuff. Maybe over $2500, haven't really kept track of stuff that great. lol.

I put a skid on mine from Sandy Komers and i have had no problems.

They are are shop in Michigan around the Dunes and they rent jeeps for trail rides and they designed it after many problems. I bought mine when I was looking at stuff in his store.

This is not recommended .... you would be setting the evaporative emission system back about thirty years!

Could you get by? You could get fuel into the tank and run the engine but would be more susceptible to fuel odors out on the trail on hot days. The smell could get overwhelming at Moab temperatures, especially for the guy wheeling behind you.

Also 100% guarantee of a check engine light so you couldn't get a license plate renewal if you needed to pass an inspection maintainence test. Best to get the relocation kit.

I put a rockhard skid on mine, no worries, took about 5mins.
