Excessive heat from the transmission tunnel? or firewall? or AC/heating system

! You where right about the boot! The dealer played with the transmission last year and they did not replace the foam and the manual shaft boot in place! It was completely Loose... Heres some pics i replaced the foam and inserted the boot properly! How can they have been looking for that heating problem for almost 2 years and not solve it! Thousand thanks and hope this solves it! Ill keep u guys posted

So far so good, I havent feel any heat at my feets since the past 2 days! The only thing is I am afraid the the floor or the entire tunnel might be as rusted as you see in the picture becaus the foam and the boot wherent in place therefore all the elements from the past year and condensation have built up in there ... the pics speeks for themselves ... its a 2010 JK

any one have pics that i could compare with or schematics for proper reassembly of those parts ... just so i can make sure the dealer didnt messed up anything in there ..

I also faced the same excessive heat transmission tunnel firewall ac heating problem.I think every electricity thing are very critical.So If I contact ac repair service center then it will be very easy process to solve the problem.
