Default Factory Navigation Color Display

On the factory Navigation is has a setting "Auto Color Mode". Which I would have thought that would change the colors from "Daytime Color" to Nighttime Colors" at a time or when the head lights come on. But this has not been the case so far. Is always seems to be in "Daytime Colors". Am I missing something in another setting somewhere?

It only worked for the Nav on my system (430n), which was also my thought in the first place.

Check the dimmer switch, if you turn it back a click, the auto mode will work. You probably have it on the setting that keeps the dash lights from dimming, and therefor the radio stays in day mode.

On the turn signal lever there is a dial to dim your gauges and it will also allow the Nav unit to auto dim.
Just turn it down one click and it will now auto dim.
I turn on my headlights for safety and use the nav on bright during the day.

Fixed, I did not realize the dimmer setting would effect that. Thank you everyone!
