Factory soft top bolts...
So my brother has an 07 JKU Rubi. When he for it brand new it came with the dual top option. The soft top was mounted inside the hard top but everything else...windows, header, etc were still boxed. He never used it...about a month after when he got his safari top (with a new header) he took the soft top out and put it with the boxes in his garage.
I just picked it up from him in Cali while on vacation and am driving back to Houston Tuesday morning. Long story but got stuck in Vegas after bending my front axel out in Logandale last week and waiting on dealer to finish installing a new 44.
What I need someone's help on is what size bolts I need to get to connect the soft top frame to my rear roll bar. We couldn't find them in the garage and the plan is to get it mounted inside the hard top for the drive home. Looks like 2 bolts on each side...about an inch away from each other on the mount point. Any help on sizing would be greatly appreciated.
Also...anyone know the big difference between the old style soft top and newer style they switched to...I think I heard or read...back in 2012? I'm gonna try and get the bolts from dealer parts when I pick up the jeep....but the normal is that they will need to order them.
Thanks-Mike

Sorry Mike, I misunderstood you. The shoulder screw attaches the top's bows to the brackets pictured. I think the previous poster is right. Check Quadratec, they have a parts page that shows everything related to the softop.
I'm looking for the two bolts/screws to mount these pieces to the roll bar on each side. Are those the shoulder screws?
Thanks-Mike

Hopefully I can find them on quadratec or something as I need them ASAP! Thanks all!

Stop in a hardware store and ask them if they can help you find a couple of screws that will work... I'm not home or I would pop a screw out and measure it in the tap and di kit. As long as the threads fit (Or you widen the threads) and the screw goes about 1/2 inch past the back of the bracket it will work. Even if it's not the MOPAR part.
Hey Cosmec,
I think I know what your looking for but the dealer would want 4 bucks for each screw i believe. I took mine off and got Soft Top Fast Removal Screw Kit Jeep Wrangler JK 2007 through 2012 | eBay
since i completely remove my top from time to time these make it a little easier to do so and faster..
but if you want the oem screws I can probably part ways with mine for a fee of course.
Well good luck my friend,

Oh and Mike I bolted the brackets with 3/4inch long 10mm stainless bolts i bought for around 11cents a piece..
