Default Rear diff questions

So it looks like I damaged my locker in my rubi. The lock teeth don't go in all the way, and they are wearing on a angle. So, I have a very limited choice for a new locker, but there are more choices for a non rubi d44, can I swap in the axles from a non rubi into my rubi housing? I know I will need new axles, locker, and carrier. But I can find all that used, just will it fit into the stock housing? Or is there any way to fix the lockers in a rubi?

Upon close inspection I find that the lock teeth are not engaging anymore and have a slight angled wear on them! Has anybody dissambled there locker and repaired it yet? Or are we just replacing them. The jeep is off warinity so I'm looking at the cheepest option at the moment.
Thanks

I have not heard of a parts source for the locker. Best bet would be get one that failed in another way and make a good one.

What caused it to go bad? Too many locked turns? Hard core rock crawling?

From what it looks like it just never fully pulled the lock ring far enough in to completely lock it. It just caught the edge of the teeth

So back to the original question, will the non rubi parts fit into the housing of a rubi? I know it will be shafts and a carrier, will it fit or is the rubi axle housing slightly different?

Bump back to the top, does anybody know if the housing are the same? Just different internals?
