Default Fair Price for Mountain Take Off Wheels

I stopped by the local 4 wheel drive shop and they had a brand new Mountain getting lifted and new wheels/tires. I have been looking for a wheel or tire change as is pretty evident by my last couple posts. Anyway the guy said her would share my number with owner of the jeep to see if he wanted to sell his stock set up.

So he called today and I need to call him back. What is a fair offer for 5 of the dark painted moabs off of a Mountain Edition with tires and little mileage?

$500. You could find Rubi wheels for less. Possibly quite a bit less. But if these are brand new, I'd say $100 per wheel/tire is a fair price.

That's about right. Painted wheels will give you grief though.

judging by the sound of it dude isn't hurting for money. Brand new Jeep+a ton of money in lift and tires. I'd bet he'd take 500 for them

You did just say take off "wheels" not wheels and tires. I think scratches would still be a problem. Isn't it just a dark coating on the mountain I would think that a scratch would show up as a light grey scratch not dark grey like the coating.

As for price for both rims and tires. $800 would probably get his attention. but I'd try 700.

Ask him what he's looking for in a price, then tell him this is what you "have". Either way he has his mind set on a price he'd be willing to budge for. Find out what that is first, then if its higher than you'd like, heckle him down. Shit he might give you a super low price.

In my area I am seeing take offs for $250-500. I practically gave mine away at about $200.

I've seen take-offs anywhere from $400-$1600. If less than 1000 miles, I'd offer $700 and be happy if you got it.

If you want 4 Rubi rims with TPM sensors (no rubber) that look brand new, you can have a set I am sitting on for $350. I am just down the road from you.
