and haven't had any more issues. Squeek started for me at 1000 miles, got tired of hearing it at 3000 miles. Dealership replaced the clutch assembly. Now at 6500 miles and no squeek to date, runs great. If it's done right, should take care of the problem.

Question about the squeek:
Is it just a noise, or is there a mechanical defect that may cause problems down the road. I can barely hear it sometimes, and it doesn't bother me. I don't want the dealer to tear into it if it's just a little noise.

I called my dealership to get an appointment for the G40 recall and while on the phone I also mentioned the squeak and the associated TSB for this and they acted as if they were totally unaware of the problem and the TSB. How is this possible? Are some service departments just so out of it or are they playing dumb? If this squeak isnt going to cause any damage I too would just as soon they don't mess with it.
