Default Finally - New Haynes Manuals!

.
I emailed Haynes today and pointed out the fact that the last model year Wrangler they include in one of their books is 2003, and that the 2010 models are now on lots. Asked them if they would ever catch up.

I received a reply back shortly afterward saying a new Wrangler manual should see shelves by the end of October, covering 2003-2009 models.

Hmmm, cool. I worked for Haynes way back in the summer of 1989 as an 'assitant mechanic'

Top notch operation. I only hope that they did both the TJ and JK, but iit sounds like they did. When I worked there, they actually bought a used model of the car/truck and tore it down, rebuilt it and put it all back together and resold it. I'm famous too. I'm the "photographer" in the back of the Suzuki Samurai manual. Hah, my one claim to fame, and bammm, I just used it on PJK!

Is it typical of Haynes to release a manual covering several years when those years cross design platforms, e.g. TJ/JK?

Not that I know. I have some manuals which I bought (and kept) at the time I owned Land Rovers, and they are quite specific per each model/generation.
