I took mine and attached pvc pipe for rod holders. They can be removed, which is nice. I also made a wooden deck that sits on top to use as a bait and tying station. Been using it for a few years down at obx to surf fish. I can carry 6 rods, bait cooler, beer and tackle with a cutting board and fresh water clean up station up and down the beach all week.

I bought a couple of these for my harbor freight rack. Haven't used it yet but it seems like its gunna work alright. It's called a rail mount fishing rod holder. It's a little bit larger diameter than the rack but I'm just adding some wood behind it to make it tight

Harbor freight rack with some galvanized pipe bolted to it, and painted. Works great.

Looked at bolting a 4 rod holder to the body, on both sides above the rear fender.

This is the best location I could come up with for travel a long distance with the need to carry 3-4 guys worth of offshore rod and reel.

I still may do this in the future. I anyone takes it up I'd love to see pictures.
